It's not a holiday I celebrate, but this is a great collection of poetry.
I agree that Song of the Artesian Waters is, in true holiday fashion, really good despite being slightly problematic. "If the Lord won't send us water, then we'll get it from the Devil" is a hell of a line.
Thank you! I was watching the video (the timezones are not friendly for watching it in real time), and every song i didn't know i had to stop and go google for lyrics (until i lost my patience and just went with it).
and yet, despite me don't actually planning to watch it, and open the video out of curiosity, i find myself repeatedly crying, and going to bed after midnight, and not doing anything else all evening.
there is a power in rituals. and it's maybe the first time i saw ritual that talk to my soul. i hope someone will make song list or album from the songs, so it will be easier to listen to them.
