I was offered a free ticket for the first Manifest and actually took them up on it this year when I discovered that there were fewer prediction market conversations than previously believed.
I've said this before, but, I met Ozy a bunch of times last year and agree they're very friendly.
Last year during the kickoff the speaker told us you shouldn't actually go to any of the sessions, and instead you should just talk to random people, prompting the following exchange between me and Ozy:
Ozy: I haven't been attending any of the sessions.
Me: So you took the advice from the kickoff to heart.

A substantial number of Manifest attendees just treat it as Less Online pt.2. Ostensible topic is an excuse not a mandate.
