The Ozy's Fiction Substack seems to currently be set to private; when I open it, I get the following error message: "You're logged in as [email address], but this page is private. Try signing in with a different email, or letting the author know they've linked to a private page."
When logged in, https://ozybrennan.substack.com/ takes me to a blank page that just says "Error". This only affects the home page, other pages seem fine (but I have to know their URLs first so I can access them directly).
When logged out, I can see the home page, but of course I can't subscribe.
Took a look and I'm pretty sure this is a substack problem and not a me problem. I sent support an email linking to your comment. In the meantime, if anyone with this problem wants to be manually subscribed, they can DM or email me.
> It is available on (deep breath) Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, Smashwords, Everand, Gardners, Fable, Tolino, and probably your local library’s ebook app but you may have to ask a librarian to buy it.
I think you forgot about Google Play Books; as it happens, I can't find it there to preorder.
I used Draft2Digital to put my book on all the non-Amazon websites, and it doesn't have Google Play Books. If you want to read it on Google Play Books I can see about uploading it.
I already pre-ordered it on Amazon (after failing to find it on Google), but I wanted to mention it because it seems like a platform that a lot of people use.

I *think* that might be a Substack bug rather than a me bug-- it's set to public in the settings.
No, wait, I figured it out, I was linking to the wrong page. Should work now.

also having issues
Substack support contacted me, which is nice of them. Have they also contacted you?
Now the issue is happening to me only intermittently.
I suspect a caching issue. Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
Are any of the purchase options drm-free?
At least smashwords is.
Is there a way to listen to an audiobook?
I don't currently have plans to do it as an audiobook but that might change if someone wants to voice-act!
Are there any plans for an audiobook?
+1

Congratulations, you are the only rationalist I know who reads Cat Valente, so I am very optimistic! Is it possible to get it as a physical book?
Ilzolende is considering making a cover for the physical book but she's quite busy and I don't know when she'll get around to it!
Where do I get the free story? If it was just a one-show thing when I subscribed, I probably missed it
It's in the welcome email; if you DM me your email I can resend it.
Ah, found it, thanks!
Should I give this a mention in r/rational or is this not that kind of story?
Go ahead! :) (Although maybe it'd be less frustrating for them if you waited until the book was actually out...)
That, I will do.
This looks awesome! Any chance for physical, print-on-demand copies?
Available now! Just bought it on Smashwords.
preordered
Based on a true story. Not an actual story, but a true story nonetheless.
This is exactly the sort of weird bullshit that I would like.
Rarely have I ever clicked "buy" so quickly.
This post has a truly amazing density of references that make me want to read your story. Well done.
This is so exciting! I have pre-ordered!
