I will be attending the conference LessOnline at the end of the month. You should also attend!
The most important fact about this conference is that I will be running a LARP, the Association for the Advancement of Rights for Fairytale Creatures. It’s a lighthearted, noncompetitive LARP about fairy tale characters attending a union meeting. I think it’s going to be a great time.
Other, less important facts include that there will be talks, workshops, puzzlehunts, dance parties, and a chance to talk to many of your favorite non-me writers, such as Alicorn, Scott Alexander, Zvi Mowshowitz, Eliezer Yudkowsky, Patrick McKenzie, Katja Grace, Nate Soares, Aella, Clara Collier, Sarah Constantin, etc.1
I also have a special announcement! My special announcement will go up on my blog the day before the conference, so attendees won’t actually get information before anyone else, but you can ask me questions about it.
Prices are going up from $400 to $500 tomorrow.2 There are also day passes if you only want to attend one day.3
Will you get to LARP with your favorite bloggers? Who knows? Unless your favorite blogger is me, in which case yes, I’ll be playing the Magic Mirror.
I’m sorry for not getting this to you earlier. I have some flaws in my personality.
The one with the LARP, obviously.
